A Goon (of Fortune)

When Wikipedia claimed they wanted to be the repository for all the world’s information, boy were they serious. I think that, these days, you’d have a bit of trouble even finding a hill hoist with which to play this. Goon is, thankfully, still readily available.

The rules for Circle of Death are woefully inaccurate… and must be fixed. Fix rules, or go to ESS club? Rules? ESS? Have ESS translate rules into English?

I love the International Drinking Rules section though:

“Nobody may swear, blaspheme or sully Her Majesty The Queen.”

Lovely.

Goon of fortune?!? Haaaa. I’d never heard of this one before. I used to just use the Hill’s hoist for swinging on. Those were the days…

Oh hell yes. We’d tie a rope to one end and then one person would dangle and the other three would run in a circle as fast as they could until the dangling kid was spinning so fast they couldn’t hold on anymore. Then with the bleeding and the yelling. Then someone else would go. Awesome.
