Several weeks back, I ordered a bunch of things from Amazon in the US, including that Sagmeister design book that everyone always raves about. Do you know him? He’s the guy that had an intern carve a poster design into his torso. It took eight hours. Ouch.
Anyway, as they like to do, Amazon split the order into three separate packages and shipped them all on the same day. I know this because I got individual emails detailing the contents of the boxes and the times they left fortress Amazon.
I received the first box four days after the shipping notice, in perfect condition. This was good. The next box eventually turned up a week and a half later, a tiny cardboard parcel at the bottom of a huge, plastic, US Postal Service sack, secured at the neck by no less than three plastic zip ties. This was puzzling. Now, almost a month after shipping, the third package has yet to arrive.
This is me, waiting for media fulfilment.
