In which the children around my apartment continue their quest to capture insects and make me laugh.
“Look at this. It’s a net. I’m catching insects”
“Oh? What kind of insects?”
“I don’t know. Big ones.”
“Here?”
“No. I’m going to stand in front of the drain. Like this…”
He points to the drain and then waves his net back and forth in front of his face, as if swatting a fly. I’m trying not to laugh at his unorthodox method of bug collection, when he turns back and asks, “Where are you going?”
“Osaka”
“Osaka?!?? Why?”
“To eat tacos”
He pauses for a second to digest this and then annouces, “You’re strange” and then runs off, net still in hand.
