This might the best use of the Techno Viking yet. See also Slap Chop.

The Third & The Seventh

The Third & The Seventh is a mind-bogglingly awesome short film by a guy called Alex Roman. It’s entirely CG and if you’ve got any kind of interest in architecture or animation, do yourself a favour and watch it in HD at the first vimeo link. There’s also some fantastic stills over on the main site.

One person did all that. Just one, all by himself. I am Jack’s acute sense of insufficiency.

Omodaka

Sabre Dance

I don’t know what to make of this. The guy has many, many videos on Youtube in which he pulls off a very convincing impersonation of a CGI character impersonating a real person who is pretending to be a mad scientist’s less strange elder brother on an off day. Like I said, I don’t really know what to make of this.

Somnambulist

A cute little video for Oren Lavie’s track Her Morning Elegance. It was shot over four weeks, using 3225 still photos and directed by Yuval and Merav Nathan. (via. MF)

If I Had a Heart

Fever Ray (feat. Karin Dreijer Andersson from The Knife) have an amazingly dark video by Andreas Nilsson for their first single, “If I Had a Heart.” It’s beautiful and I don’t know what’s going on.
